About Feline Thrifty
My Story
So happy you're here! I'm Kim, owner of Feline Thrifty and proud fur parent of two rescue cats, Grizzly (right) and Pewter (left). Founded in March 2024, Feline Thrifty is a thrift and consignment shop which blends two of my passions: finding, buying, mending, and selling secondhand clothing, shoes, and accessories; and helping cats and kittens in need. How do I help cats?! 10% of all sales go to Furry Tales Cat Rescue.

Purchasing 101
Everything you need to know about buying from Feline Thrifty:
- Spot something(s) you love here on my website, on my Poshmark (@kimberlyseida), or on my Instagram (@feline.thrifty.shop).
- Email me at kim@felinethrifty.ca to reserve and purchase (etransfer or via Poshmark for online purchases; cash or via Square for in-person purchases).
- Pick up your item(s) in downtown Ottawa, or I can deliver within 10km of Ottawa. Other options include purchasing the item via my Poshmark account (I offer $6.99 and $9.99 shipping) or regular shipping via Canada Post ($19.99 flat rate shipping for up to 11lb packages within Canada).
- If you're not happy with your purchase, you can exchange it for another item of the same price or receive store credit.
- Wear with pride, knowing you're helping cats and the environment by shopping secondhand!
Consigning 101
Everything you need to know about the consignment process for your clothes, shoes, and/or accessories!
- Select items to consign.
- Inspect for stains, discoloration, spots, tears, or holes.
- Email me with at least 1 photo of each item.
- I will confirm which item(s) I will take along with pricing details within 48 hours.
- We determine a mutually convenient pickup time and location. I will send you a consignment contract for you to sign, which includes payment details.
- I post your item(s) on Poshmark, Instagram, and/or online.
- Once an item sells, you get paid 60% of the selling price! (10% goes to Furry Tales Cat Rescue, while the remaining 30% goes to Feline Thrifty.)
- If your item(s) don't sell after 9 months, you can arrange for retrieval or I will donate to a thrift store of my choosing.
